marburger farms .

Marburger Farms hosts one of the largest antique shows you will see ANYwhere! Gathering twice a year (fall/spring), vendors and shoppers come from all over the nation just for this special show.  My friend, Tara, works for Marburger and I finally had the chance (thanks for babysitting, Mom!) to get out there for a day and see a little bit of what Marburger is!!  I mainly helped out at the information desk for the day, and then got to run around for an hour and get a taste of it.  I *think I saw maybe 1/20th of the whole place and I am stoked to head back this fall (hopefully!)

The above is mostly what I saw for the day-- at the information/merchandise desk :)  Such cute hats and shirts (designed by my talented friend, Tara Suel!) and a great view of the Office until I was done!  Then, venturing out to a few venues the last hour of the day . . .

Already getting some bright ideas for the fall and hoping I can get more time there next time.  Perfect little day trip to do with a friend and window (or real!) - shop!  :)

Meet our new pup, Poppy!  Our little Miss Mary Poppins, "Poppy", dropped in to our lives, via umbrella right out of the sky on J's birthday eve . . . She sure is sweet, full of puppy-ness, and been a load of fun around here . J is her best buddy, A is just getting used to her (haha) . . . she wasn't sure about the jumping and puppy-teeth chewing/nipping at first .

Anyways, she has been a nice addition to the family, especially with everything going on lately (24 hour bug, that we ALL caught! J's ribs being weird and needing x-rays, ct scans, and our sweet neighbors in Oklahoma dealing with devastation right now . . .)

 Miss A loves to hide in the curtains, whip the curtains around herself, and pretend they are a dramatic cape or dress. Here she is probably imitating Rapunzel talking back to the evil Mother Gothel saying, "I...am the lost...PRINCESS!"

I finally got to take pictures of little baby Teddy & his mommy, Megan!

I had been waiting for the right moment so I could catch these two . . . and after 3 or 4 times of rescheduling (how many was it Megan?!) with kids getting sick/life getting in the way, we actually met up and took a few photos! Here is the cutie-pie, himself . . .

Recently, had my old roomie, Annabell, in town for a fun weekend! ate some good food,

played with the kids, and took a little tour of the new & improved msc. It was a blast from the past,

and we laughed our way through there as we reminisced and walked quite a ways down

memory lane (smile).
