Marburger Farm, Halloween-style.

I love that you can find items that cover year-round holidays....these two fire place andirons (boy I would love to see the fire burning in their eyes!) and collection of hands (complete with "always lend a helping hand" sign) creep me out . . . in the best of ways . (mwah-ha-ha-ha! evil laughter...)

summer (marburger photos)

this vendor had some amazing (some...i mean, bazillions) quilts - my little american heart goes pitter-patter with this one hanging (which says at the top, "The Good Old U.S.A.") and check out this little boat!! if i was the size of my children, i may have hopped on in.  hope everyone is having a safe and fun summer -  even if it's crazy so far (ours has had it's share of . . . tough things), praying for you all (and myself!) to enjoy each minute when you can :)

happy father's day! (marburger photo)

to Matt, who is the sweetest daddy to these two kids (and most helpful husband to this lady!!),
to Dad, who loves me and my brother so much,
and to my father-in-law, who makes me feel like I've always been a part of the Purcell family :)

...celebrating you guys this weekend!

marburger farms, two .

happy last day of school, everyone!!  look at this darling little guy . . .

There are loads of funky little figurines and other amazing items through the entire show . . . what I wouldn't give to make a call on that blue telephone!

Marburger Farms hosts one of the largest antique shows you will see ANYwhere! Gathering twice a year (fall/spring), vendors and shoppers come from all over the nation just for this special show.  My friend, Tara, works for Marburger and I finally had the chance (thanks for babysitting, Mom!) to get out there for a day and see a little bit of what Marburger is!!  I mainly helped out at the information desk for the day, and then got to run around for an hour and get a taste of it.  I *think I saw maybe 1/20th of the whole place and I am stoked to head back this fall (hopefully!)

The above is mostly what I saw for the day-- at the information/merchandise desk :)  Such cute hats and shirts (designed by my talented friend, Tara Suel!) and a great view of the Office until I was done!  Then, venturing out to a few venues the last hour of the day . . .

Already getting some bright ideas for the fall and hoping I can get more time there next time.  Perfect little day trip to do with a friend and window (or real!) - shop!  :)
