summer (marburger photos)

this vendor had some amazing (some...i mean, bazillions) quilts - my little american heart goes pitter-patter with this one hanging (which says at the top, "The Good Old U.S.A.") and check out this little boat!! if i was the size of my children, i may have hopped on in.  hope everyone is having a safe and fun summer -  even if it's crazy so far (ours has had it's share of . . . tough things), praying for you all (and myself!) to enjoy each minute when you can :)

happy father's day! (marburger photo)

to Matt, who is the sweetest daddy to these two kids (and most helpful husband to this lady!!),
to Dad, who loves me and my brother so much,
and to my father-in-law, who makes me feel like I've always been a part of the Purcell family :)

...celebrating you guys this weekend!

dance .

"A" enjoyed ballet and tap this year.  The class was the highlight of her week every Tuesday!!  I will say, though, I do not wish to repeat having to prep a child under 5 for a recital again any time soon (lol) .  They are so unpredictable at this age.  Ended up being just fine, I was just curious the whole day leading up to it if she would run off the stage crying or not.  (she didn't. she had fun!! shocker!!)

we'll wait a while to do it again, but for now, here are some recital day photos.  she is a sweet little ballerina and certainly a spunky little tap-dancer :)

marburger - summertime parasols .

I felt like I had entered a summertime dream in this vendor's section.
Very "Gatsby Goes Shabby Chic in the Summer" feel to it (lol).
Even Daisy (up top there) is ready, face to the sun, parasol in hand,
soaking it all up!

marburger farms - not too shabby .

a little shabby chic inspiration for all of you ladies out there! total drool-fest for these wonderfully feminine set-ups . . .

marburger farms , three .

shine .

I was taking some trash out the other night and the lights from the back were just pouring through the fence beautifully.  And, no, I was not carrying my camera with me, silly ;)  I went back for it really quick, though!
